The account I had my Microsoft certifications under was hacked and I am looking to have the certifications moved to my new account. I had a case with the CDOC case management and they were able to suspend the account but won't provided me access to the account. Can someone please help me.Maximum No. of Users for Performance
Hi, We are migrating a customer from Business Central 21 on premise to Business Central SaaS. They currently have 1,100 users and a database that is roughly 1TB (When migrate to SaaS it is roughly 450GB). They are concerned by Microsoft documentation and various links from third parties that say best performance is 300 users (How many users can Business Central support?) and (Service scalability for Business Central online - Business Central | Microsoft Learn). Is there a set limit that affects performance of the infrastructure? ThanksMicrosoft In a Day (XIAD) Partner Events Program - Train the Trainer Events (DIAD/FAIAD/RTIAD)

Hello, all. I am about to submit a first version of an app to MS team evaluation before it goes to MS Store and one of the steps is to fill out a tax profile. While filling it in my partner center page, which is a dev account registered out of the US, it comes to a point where it wants a W-8BEN filled even after informing in at least 2 occasions in the same process that I am not based in the US, I am not US citizen and I don't pay tax in US. Why does it still want a W-8BEN given the above explanation, and considering that any future revenue is not made in the US? Any explanation will be appreciated.SolvedOngoing Issue with Employment Verification in Microsoft Partner Program
Hello I am experiencing a persistent issue with the Employment Verification process in the Microsoft Partner and Reseller programs. When attempting to resolve the issue by clicking “Fix Now” after a rejected verification, I am continuously redirected back to the Identity Verification step. Even after completing the identity verification, I am sent back to Employment Verification, only to be rejected again. This creates a loop, and every time I click “Fix Now,” I am not given the option to upload any documents, but instead, I am redirected to the previous step, making it impossible to proceed. This issue has been ongoing for 50 days, and I have contacted Microsoft Support many times. Unfortunately, I continue to receive the same generic responses, asking for the same documents to be uploaded. After submitting them, there is no further follow-up, and the issue remains unresolved. It seems as though I am receiving automated responses without any real resolution. What adds to the frustration is the contradiction in the process: The exact same documents I submitted for Developer Verification, which were successfully processed and authorized, are being rejected for the Partner and Reseller programs, despite being identical in every way. Given the significant impact this issue is having on my business, I am reaching out to the community for assistance. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, or is there any guidance on how to resolve this? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support.Necessity of Order Lines Licenses
Hello everyone, A customer would like to connect an external third party warehouse management system to Finance & Supply Chain. This system accesses the Sales Order Line. Is the Operations - Order Line license necessary for this? The customer argues that the “Users of WMS” could also be equipped with D365 licenses and would then be licensed. Thank you in advanceSolvedBroken Benefits
As a Solution Partner in good standing, One of the "benefits" is Microsoft Product Support, In fact, when our clients have issues only questions submitted here will get answered. Problem is, the instructions say: While steps 1 and 2 are easy, when trying to accomplish step three, for a benefit in which we are entitled, we get this when going to the customer page. Can someone please explain to me HOW I'm supposed to add my customer to get support? This seems like a clear breach of benefits. To pre-answer some your questions: I'm a global admin on this domain, I have all partner administration roles assigned to me.107Views0likes4CommentsCpor Microsoft Information protection
Hi, I have notices an issue recently that all of our cpor claims for Microsoft Informaton Protection shows as 0 paid avialiable units and 0 Monthly Active Users. Even though the customers have licenses that includes MIP and have MIP deployed. Have any one else experianced this problem and how have did you solved it? So far Microsoft haven't been that helpful. For us it's really important with these cpor claims in regards to our partnerships with Microsoft. Br, Henrik227Views0likes7CommentsMicrosoft for Nonprofits LinkedIn account
Hi Risa_Coleman and Leslie_Robbins I was wondering who runs the Microsoft for Nonprofits LinkedIn account? We are launching a new Microsoft Power BI course for nonprofits and I was hoping to get some engagement from the team. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Matt Matt Burr | LinkedInIssue with Microsoft Partner Centre Vet Team
Hi All, Had anyone experienced the similar with the vet team where they reject a legit document yet being redundant saying that the document does not fulfill the requirement? They rejected it on the basis that it its not within a year of validity. That was when i signed up for AI Cloud partner program. This was the reply from the vet team. Upon review, we identified that the documents you’ve shared will expire in 2 months All documents submitted must be issued within the previous 12 months or where the expiration date is a future date that is at least two months away. My documents are definitely issued within the previous 12 months. After couple of email exchange questioning them, it finally got through but it took weeks. Now i've signed up for CSP indirect reseller program and here we go again. I renewed my domain and its of 5 years validity now, it got rejected on the basis that it did not fulfill the validity condition. I've furnished further business registration information about my company since the 4th of March. To date they're still telling me its under review. Is that how Microsoft Partner Center Vet team works? Where it takes ages for them to go through a simple document, where they would reject a valid document just to make things hard. I've seen previous posts that says the same about the Vet team and i've heard from partners in my region that they too are having hard time with the vet team. I have an urgent deal which requires me to acquire license for my client today. Anyone can enlighten me how to get through their thick skull and fasten the process? Regards, ThomasJoining the Microsoft 365 Developer Program
Our company is a Microsoft Partner, and we have Partner Success Expanded Benefits. I learned that we are eligible E5 developer accounts, but I have not been able to get them going. I reached out to our Microsoft representative, and he directed me here to find help. It seems like we need to be added to an allow list because we are an SMB seeking E5 accounts. Is anyone familiar with this process?Address tied to DUNS number not verifiable
I've been trying to sign up for the Windows developer program but the address associated to my DUNS number cannot be verified by Microsoft. I also can't enter a different address manually because the button doesn't do anything, please see attached screenshot. This won't let me move past the Company Information page. The address is correct, the company is registered there. I also can't file a support ticket because I don't have a workspace to attache the ticket to. This whole process seems to be broken. How do I proceed?Microsoft Partner Centre application Help!!!!
Sorry to contact you again on this, but nothing has changed: my application is still being rejected for the original reasons. Silent Install I cannot find any literature that hints at what form the MS silent install command should take (other than the standard one I entered: "myapp.exe" /SILENT ). Copilot was unable to help. Attempts to find the answer on other forums (e.g. stack overflow) have been dismissed as having nothing to do with programming! It would be a great help if the application form listed sample strings. Report This File As Safe I purchased a Microsoft Authenticode Code Signing Certificate in November (for $369) believing that it would prevent users from encountering the Windows Defender screen when they installed my app. This proved not to be the case. Sectigo, the vendor, couldn't tell me how I might overcome this hurdle, but suggested I might improve my chances of doing so were I to submit my app to the MS store. This done, I discovered that I needed to 'Report this file as safe'. Though I don't understand the logic of this (self-certifying, that is), I have tried to do so several times without success because: (a) For three weeks or so, nothing happened when I clicked the button, (b) When, finally, I was transported to a report form, filling it out and forwarding it to MS made no difference. Surely, it would save everyone's time if someone from MS could tell me in layman's terms what I need to do to satisfy the application process. Regards, RichardClaiming EA customers -> always claim TWICE!!
In the last couple of weeks, we have been struggling with the number of Deployments in the Business Applications designation (section Customer Success). Customer adds are present, but no flow towards Deployments. It appears that since the moment that Incentives on Usages of licenses (OSU) have been deprecated (about two years ago?), you have to claim the EA customer TWICE!! Not only should you claim a customer as CPOR for Build Intent – Advisor to get the former OSA incentives on bought licenses, but you also have to claim the Usage Recognition – Non Incentivized (Microsoft calls it CPOR OSU) as shown below: We think it is strange that you have to claim a customer twice! It is what it is, we have no choice until Microsoft realizes that this is a mistake on their part and changes the claim system....we from our part are pushing on that!Questions about the correct licensing of Microsoft Azure Local
Hello dear Tech Community, I hope I am posting this in the right place, please move to the correct section if necessary. We have the following customer situation: Planned acquisition of 2 host servers (2x 32 Core AMD EPYC CPU per Server) for Microsoft Azure Local usage with Windows 11 Multihost locally hosted (220 users). Is it possible to avoid the monthly costs for Azure by using the Azure Hybrid Benefit and license regularly via OEM Datacenter + Software Assurance or Open Value Datacenter + Software Assurance? Planned licensing options: Licensing Option 1: (Software Assurance only for SRV license, no Software Assurance for CALs): OEM licenses + Software Assurance for server OS. Use of Azure Hybrid Benefit (Bring your Own License - only with active Software Assurance!) 8x Microsoft Windows Server 2025 Datacenter OEM 16 Core 44x Microsoft Windows Server 2025 5-User CAL OEM 8x Microsoft OPEN Value Windows Server Datacenter 16 Core Licence Software Assurence 3 Years Upfront Cores - OVL - NL Licensing Option 2: Open Value 3Y Upfront Use of Azure Hybrid Benefit (Bring your Own License - only with active Software Assurance!) 8x Microsoft Windows Server Datacenter Edition Software Assurance 16Core 3Y-Y1 OVL 220x MS OVL-NL Windows Server CAL Lic+Software Assurance 3Y-Y1 Licensing Option 3: CSP Subscription Use of Azure Hybrid Benefit (Bring your Own License via subscription license) 12x Windows Server 2025 Datacenter - 8 Core License Pack - 3 Year Term- CSP - ABO 220x Windows Server 2025 CAL - 1 User CAL - 3 Year Term- CSP - ABO Licensing Option 4: Azure Local directly (no CAL´s needed) 128x Azure Local - Monthly service fee - per core per month 128x Windows Server subscription (for guests) - Monthly service fee - per core per month Are the four options I listed legally applicable for the planned project mentioned above?
