Azure Data Services (17490)

Last Modified 2017-04-10

This course covers Azure Data Services which includes Azure SQL Database, DocumentDB, and Azure Search. Microsoft Azure SQL Database is a relational database-as-a-service that delivers predictable performance, scalability, business continuity, data protection, and near-zero administration to cloud developers and solution architects. DocumentDB is a NoSQL service for highly available, globally distributed apps which can take full advantage of SQL and JavaScript over document and key-value data without the hassles of on-premises or virtual machine-based cloud database options. Azure Search provides indexing and querying capabilities for Azure data. The Search as a service provides developers with complex search capabilities for mobile and web development while hiding infrastructure requirements and search algorithm complexities.
