Microsoft partner Bsure empowers customers to gain control of their Microsoft environments
Norwegian startup Bsure was founded in 2022 by a team with nearly 100 years of combined experience working with Microsoft products and their users. Seeking to share its expertise and empower its customers, Bsure created a solution that delivers actionable insights into companies' Microsoft environments. Bsure Insights, a Microsoft Azure managed application available in the Azure Marketplace, helps companies in any industry optimize licenses and user accounts to save money, reduce security risk, and increase efficiencies. Bsure Insights users can visualize these insights as data by installing the Microsoft Power BI module from Microsoft AppSource.
Bsure Insights ensures privacy by storing all data in the organization’s tenant and provides a complete overview of all members in the Microsoft 365 environment, when they were created, and when they last signed in – as well as whether their accounts are active, inactive, or disabled. The solution also delivers insights into potential Microsoft license cost savings and overall security, including users and groups that have been granted admin roles and those that are not registered with multi-factor authentication.
Marketplace Rewards benefits increase reach and deliver results
Bsure joined the Marketplace Rewards program in the summer of 2022 and found it to be very helpful when getting started as a new business.
The company has participated in several Marketplace Rewards benefits. One of the first was the marketplace listing optimization benefit, which provided immediate impact by helping Bsure craft a more effective offer page and increase its reach in the Microsoft commercial marketplace. CEO Henrik Skalmerud was pleased with the support Bsure received from its Marketplace Rewards engagement manager and welcomed the opportunity to improve its offer page. Early results included two new customers downloading Bsure Insights and transacting directly through the Azure Marketplace. Bsure has also taken advantage of Marketplace Rewards’ Azure sponsorship benefit to help it close new deals with a value of more than $20,000 in annual recurring revenue. The Azure sponsorship program offers free Azure usage to lower Azure infrastructure costs and help accelerate commercial marketplace business. It's also a great way to help customers finalize their decisions and persuade them to try marketplace solutions by offsetting the Azure cost.
"The Microsoft ecosystem provides unique opportunities. Being able to launch Bsure Insights running 100 percent in the Microsoft cloud builds trust, and having everything gathered in one place (one-stop shop) lowers the barrier to installing the product for customers,” Skalmerud said.
Bsure has made a name for itself using Microsoft technology to help companies gain insights into their Microsoft environments, and it is currently considering integrating Microsoft AI into Bsure Insights to further enhance both its flagship offering and its Microsoft partnership.
