To accomplish this, Water Mission decided to use a comprehensive set of Blackbaud solutions built on the Microsoft stack, including cloud fundraising solution Raiser’s Edge NXT, which is powered by Microsoft Azure. Water Mission also uses Office 365 as its productivity suite. “Knowing that Blackbaud’s powerful cloud fundraising solution is powered by Microsoft Azure inspires great trust for Water Mission, and Microsoft’s track record of delivering leading business productivity in the cloud made Office 365 an easy choice,” said Rogers Hook, VP of Development for Water Mission.
Water Mission saw great results from Raiser’s Edge NXT right from the start. Within minutes of turning it on, the system identified 897 constituents with the potential to give $1,000 or more—a potential to provide 100,000 people safe water for the rest of their lives—which equates to nearly 10% of their entire organizational income. Within the first six months of using Raiser’s Edge NXT, Water Mission realized $1 million in unanticipated revenue. They also anticipate an increase in productivity of two hours per week per employee because of Office 365.
