The Women in Technology community is a networking group of like-minded business professionals in the Microsoft Technology eco-system. Both Microsoft employees and Microsoft partners are welcome and encouraged to participate. Some of our events include Goal Workshops - Finding Your Passion and Living Your Dream, book launches with guest speakers, golf days and just plain old-fashioned networking. Let's get together to share ideas and grow our business and personal connections.
Diversity is good for business. Gender diversity introduces innovation which fuels better business, builds stronger relationships and increases profitability. We will attract a strong membership by example - by acting ethically, honestly and courageously and through an ongoing commitment to community outreach activities.
WIT leverages the power of global relationships, collaboration and learning to build a strong eco-system of women who can provide support and mutual learning. WIT values diversity, fostering a trusting, open and inclusive environment and treating each person in a manner that reflects respect.
We understand that each of us has the power to change the lives of others; we will use every interaction as an opportunity to impact others in a positive way. WIT nurtures a culture of community involvement and volunteerism, finding ways to give back to charities that reflect our commitment to improving the lives of others.
IAMCP WIT has an outstanding presence at Microsoft Inspire, the premier event for partners in the Microsoft ecosystem. Activities include the annual WIT Luncheon, where women from across the globe connect about the impact they achieved over the year, as well as the WIT panel discussion and annual business meeting. The WIT group brings significant energy and momentum to the conference experience.
IAMCP WIT Communities are connected to IAMCP Chapters around the world. The WIT communities host a variety of events throughout the year focused on networking, leadership development, community outreach, and personal improvement.
Each quarter the WIT community brings together important thinkers and leaders to present to the global WIT audience. Speakers include executives from Microsoft, career coaches, and subject matter experts in the world of IT.
