Partner of the year announcement

It’s a proud moment for us to congratulate the winners/finalists of Microsoft Inspire 2017 Partner of the Year Awards. Inspire Awards 2017 witnessed a fierce competition with 2800 nominations from partners across the world. This year, Sonata Information Technology Limited has successfully bagged the title of the Country Partner of the Year along with a finalist position under Messaging Award category. GST impact on Microsoft billing in June

As India is moving towards GST regime from July 1, 2017, Microsoft India is also taking necessary changes in its systems for it to charge applicable GST taxes. Our systems need to be put on hold and there will be a freeze period from July 1 through July 11, 2017. During this time, any purchase orders or issue invoices cannot be processed. To ensure smooth fiscal year closure and on-time transaction conclusion, your clean orders (with documentation) need to be submitted to APOC no later than the dates (with time stamp) as indicated here

Project 2007 is getting end of life October 10, 2017! With it, all its services would end too which means greater vulnerability to a multitude of threats. It’s time to immediately plan your migration to Project Online or latest on premise version Project 2016 to mitigate any risks. Build 2017 – Microsoft AI Update

Build Conference 2017, that has recently happened in Seattle, discussed how AI could take human ingenuity to next level with better understanding of world, removal of barriers to technology and reason behind huge amount of data. Here is the quick recap of the announcements and updates:

  • Significant changes in Microsoft Cognitive Services to help developers build the next-gen apps with AI
  • Recent updates in BOT Framework to empower developers with tools and streamlined integrations
  • Public preview of the Cortana Skills Kit. Developers can now build bots with Microsoft Bot Framework
  • New Azure offering, Azure Batch AI Training are available to allow developers and data scientists to configure an environment with parameters and run their model
