We're evolving the Microsoft Partner Network programs so that we can continue to grow our partnership and your business. This includes simplifying our partner programs and aligning to how we go to market and see customer demand—validating partner capabilities to deliver successful customer outcomes and investing more in your profitability.

We're streamlining the existing 18 competencies into six Solutions Partner designations that are aligned with the Microsoft Cloud. This new, single-tier designation model will be known as the Solutions Partner designation and will combine today's silver and gold tiers. If you have silver or gold competencies, you'll have time to learn more and assess how the Solutions Partner designation fits into the strategic plan for your business.
