Program Overview

Showcase your validated capabilities in implementing the Azure’s AI services for customers.

As customers mature their AI implementations, they are looking for partners with skills and experience in implementing Azure’s AI services. This specialization will help you differentiate yourself as a partner with experience in adding AI to customer Azure deployments.

Partners who earn a specialization will get a customer-facing label displayed on their business profile page and be prioritized in customer searches in Microsoft Marketplace.

How do I apply?

Only an Account Administrator or a Global Administrator of an organization's Microsoft partner account can submit an application for the AI Platform on Microsoft Azure specialization on behalf of the organization. If you have the appropriate role and access, you can apply by signing into Partner Center and navigating to your Partner Center dashboard > Membership > Specializations.

What are the requirements?

Eligible partners must meet the highest standards for service delivery and support. All requirements will be verified by Microsoft and/or a third-party vendor, either automatically or by manual review, and are subject to change.

Your organization must have an active Solutions Partner for Digital & App Innovation (Azure) or Data & AI (Azure) designation.

Your organization must complete the following performance requirements:

Your organization must show a total of $15,000 of Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) from the eligible Strategic Pillars of Azure AI platform services in the last 3 months. Eligible Strategic Pillars: 3P GPU, Rest of Azure AI, Azure OpenAI

AND

Your organization must have at least 3 unique customers contributing to Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) in the last 3 months from eligible Strategic Pillars of Azure AI platform services. Learn More.

*Eligible Association Types: Digital Partner of Record (DPOR), Partner Admin Link (PAL), Cloud Solution Provider (CSP)
*Government subscriptions (e.g., Fairfax) associated via PAL are not valid.

Details

Your organization must have at least three (3) certified individuals who have earned at least one of the following certifications.

​These individuals must collectively cover the following two certification groups:


​​​* The Azure Data Scientist Associate retired June 1, 2026. Certifications before this date remain valid for one year from the certification date.
