Microsoft's Verification and Support System
Microsoft's verification and support system is absolutely appalling. Despite providing every piece of required information for my company, their system continues to reject my verification attempts. I've gone above and beyond by paying extra to create additional email accounts in the format email address removed for privacy reasons. I've submitted QR-coded invoices officially verified by government authorities. Our WHOIS data is current and accurate. My name matches perfectly across all documentation and our DUNS number is correct. Yet, I keep receiving the same frustrating response: "This is because the primary contact details did not match." When I reach out through their official support channels, it takes them five days just to respond. It's been two months now, and I'm still waiting for approval just to register. It's absurd that such a large company maintains such a disastrous system. All they need to do is verify real users directly without relying on AI algorithms. They're so focused on automating everything with artificial intelligence that they've created a dysfunctional process. Despite all their technology, humans still remain superior at handling these verification tasks, yet Microsoft seems determined to automate a process they haven't properly designed.Modifying Plan Minimum Number of Users for Private Offers
Hi, I’m curious to know if there are any plans to allow ISVs to modify the Minimum Users/Seats when creating a private offer, even if that value differs from the limits defined in the corresponding public plan. At present, it appears private offers must stay within the min/max seat range configured in the public plan. However, there are strategic opportunities where we may need to override the minimum user count (e.g., to accommodate a smaller pilot or proof of concept for a large customer). Thanks, Tim
Clarification on process to set up as direct bill CSP in another geographic region.
We are currently a Tier 1 direct bill CSP partner in the US. We have created a business entity in the British Virgin Islands with the aim of transacting CSP in the LATAM region. I am a bit stuck in the process of getting this set up, hoping someone here who has gone through it can help provide a sanity check. I have a ticket open with Microsoft but they've literally been ignoring my requests for update for a full week as of today. So far we've set up the BVI business entity and linked it to our main MPN in Partner Center as a new location. The tenant has been created in the BVI as well for the entity. It is my understanding we next need to enroll this new entity as a partner here. When I fill the form I am getting errors the name already exists, even though it's a new entity.
Microsoft Vetting
I have been stuck on Employment verification for a little while now. I was asked to upload confirming documents on April 23rd and nothing has been done since. I submitted a ticket and they keep repeating the same things that I have already completed. Is there a way to get some assistance with this please? TrackingID#2505060040011964
Solutions Partner Designations Benefits -Business Applications
Hello Team The Solutions Partner Designation benefits package for Biz Apps includes "D365 Marketing (Base Pack)" and "D365 Customer Insights". We currently have a "D365 Marketing Attach" subscription that we purchased direct and want to switch to our benefit license. Hope someone can share some insights on this, as Microsoft is publishing conflicting messages. Starting October, Microsoft will change the incentive requirements for partners. In the announcement it is stated that partners will earn incentives if they have 25 points in EACH solution area. Source: May 2025 announcements - Partner Center announcements | Microsoft Learn In other presentations published, it stated 25 points in a SPECIFIC solutions area. Source: Microsoft Commerce Incentive Resources Conflicting messages from Microsoft, so which is it? The nuance is a big difference for partners. I'd assume the latter is correct. I'm reaching out to request assistance with a name change related to certifications I earned through the Microsoft Learn platform. In 2023, I completed and was awarded credentials for AZ-900 and DP-900. These certificates are still visible on my Credly account and were originally issued under my former legal name. Due to personal safety concerns and following advice from authorities, I have since legally changed my name and deleted all accounts and platforms that contained my previous name for security reasons. Unfortunately, this included the original Microsoft Learn account associated with my certifications, and I have realised this months after the deletion so I cannot rectify this. Although I no longer have access to the Learn account used at the time (which may have been linked to more than one email address I can retrieve if needed), I do still have: Verified certificates and Credly badges Access to the Credly profile where the credentials are hosted Both old and new government-issued ID as proof of legal name change Any other documentation you may require to verify ownership and identity I’ve since created a new Microsoft Learn account in my current name for communication purposes. I would be very grateful if you could advise what steps and documentation are needed to update the name associated with my AZ-900 and DP-900 certifications so they reflect my current legal name. Updated May 5. Our renewal and enrollment tool is not available yet. The renewal tool will be released first in the next few weeks, followed by the new enrollment tool. Although it is the same tool, we are rolling it out in stages. I will update this post as soon as the tool gets released. Thank you for your patience. CSP relationship scenarios
In the Partner Center documentation at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/enroll/csp-supported-partner-relationships, I find sample scenario 4b and sample scenario 5, which contradicts each other. Sample scenario 4b appears to say that we can buy four ourselves if our production environment is separate from the one used for CSP business, while scenario 5 appears to say that we cannot. Which one is it?I have a question about upcoming FY26 on the Distributor side minimum of 30 million USD TTM billed.
I am in Tie Distribution, distributing in Thailand. i see New Update What does this mean, please elaborate. I want to know how the revenue is calculated and is the minimum really 30 million USD? Greetings, We have just been onboarded as a TSP. We have recently provided training in AZ-900 and AZ-104 and the attendees have successfully redeeemed achievement codes for both courses. The problem is this does not reflect on our profile in the partner center that any courses have been completed. Problems Registering for the Hardware Program
Hello! Over a week ago I found, that my organization account for some reason disappeared/deleted without notification and I couldn't log in to it anymore... Last year our company participated in the Hardware Developer program, had the verified Developer profile, and successfully submitted the hardware programs. Just after that, I registered the organization again, entered the same company data for the verification, and also passed the Developer verification again very quickly, then clicked to participate in the Hardware Program again. For some reason, I still don't see the Hardware Program active in my account, but together with that I can't activate it again in the list of available programs. So it is not active and I can't select it to activate it... I created a support ticket 10 days ago and I still waiting for the resolution... I have tried to ask what is the issue, but received a response - "Account Verification is still under review". After that, I asked another question about the issue and how much time will it take to resolve it - but received no response... Could someone explain what happened? Why the organization was deleted? Why after successful Developer profile verification the support team tell, that verification is still going on? Why I don't see the Hardware program dashboard if I have activated it already?
