Adobe Sign process of MS countersignature on VL documents for EMEA and Asia

Last Modified 2021-09-15

Beginning mid-November 2021, Microsoft (MS) will use Adobe Sign for all countersignature requests on Volume Licensing (VL) documents in selected countries in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia. The VL document will reflect an Adobe Sign signature in lieu of a Microsoft Alternative Acceptance Form (MAAF), the prior standard process of stamping and physically signing a document. This change will reduce processing time, provide a legally recognized e-signature for Microsoft countersignature requests, and remove the use of the MAAFs for this scenario.
