See how the coming updates to partner benefits and competency requirements prepare your company for the changing market landscape.
Starting in July 2019, we began making rolling updates to the requirements and included benefits across all competencies. Please check partner center for exact requirements and benefits on your anniversary date to ensure you meet the current requirements.
In April 2019 we announced that the Cloud Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Competency was retiring October 1, 2020. The last day to attain or renew this competency is September 30, 2019.
There are no requirements updates for your competency at this time. Please review the updated requirements or sign in to partner center to see your competency status and exam requirements as they become available. Make sure to check competency requirements early—at least a few months prior to the beginning of your renewal window (anniversary date plus 30 days)—to ensure you meet current requirements at the time of your competency renewal. Please note that updated requirements are available only in partner center. If you have been invited to move your membership account from Partner Membership Center to partner center, make the move as soon as possible. Here is how.

Benefits updates
In July 2019, we will be updating the use rights associated with the product licenses included with competency attainment for business development scenarios. To learn more please review the guide.
Starting in October 2019, we will be updating the product licenses included with competencies. Upon renewal product licenses included will be specific to technology associated with the competency you attain. For the latest in product licenses available with your competency, please review the competency benefits table preview. Additional licenses can be purchased through commercial licensing to run your business.
Starting in August 2019, product support incidents for on-premises will no longer be included in competency benefits. To learn more or purchase product support incidents for your customers, go here.

This information is intended to help partners with an active competency understand the attainment requirements and included benefits at their next renewal. Dates, competency requirements, and benefits detailed on partner.microsoft.com are subject to change; check the partner center for the exact requirements and benefits at time of your renewal and payment. Partners who have been invited to move their membership management from Partner Membership Center (PMC) to the partner center should plan to move prior to their renewal period.
