According to Louis Fournier, CEO of Orckestra, the company’s relationship with Microsoft began in 2006. “We were a deployment partner for on-premise Microsoft commerce solutions. As it became obvious that cloud computing was the future, we became early adopters of Microsoft Azure, using it as the foundation for the Orckestra Commerce Cloud,” he said.

“Leveraging our joint offers with the Orckestra Commerce Cloud, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365 has allowed us to get the interest of great retail organizations and position us to win deals in the market.”

Orckestra offers a single solution to orchestrate online and in-store commerce experiences. “We call this the Orckestra Commerce Cloud (OCC)—it keeps retailers in tune with the next generation of digital consumers, so they can innovate and keep up with rapidly evolving demands,” Fournier said.

Fournier was clear about why Orckestra chose Microsoft technology for their solutions. “Our shared mission is to help businesses accomplish more and be leaders in their industry. With Microsoft as our key alliance partner, our customers benefit from the unrivaled continuous innovation and leading-edge solutions they bring to market,” he said.

Vincent Trépanier, Executive Vice President and Partner at Orckestra, said that co-selling and co-marketing with Microsoft has helped the Montreal-based retail solutions provider take their apps to market.

“We have seen tremendous benefits from our co-marketing efforts with Microsoft. Last quarter, we saw a very positive lift of 19 percent on our incoming leads,” Trépanier said. “Leveraging our joint offers with the Orckestra Commerce Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 has allowed us to get the interest of great retail organizations and position us to win deals in the market.”

Trépanier continued: “One of the key benefits of co-selling with Microsoft is having access to a great support network and services that Microsoft is able to offer to their partners. Leveraging this ecosystem can allow us to participate in opportunities to win business which we would not have access to otherwise.”

As an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) within Microsoft, Orckestra has been able to increase their exposure to Microsoft partners and customers through being listed in Microsoft marketplaces and through promotion of their app on Microsoft social channels.

Some of the additional benefits of Orckestra’s partnership with Microsoft that Fournier found most valuable included the ability to leverage the Microsoft Partner Network for global reach and delivery, access to product development and innovation for retail with Microsoft Research, and global deployment capabilities for faster time to market and ROI.

“One of the key benefits of co-selling with Microsoft is having access to a great support network and services …. Leveraging this ecosystem can allow us to participate in opportunities to win business which we would not have access to otherwise.”
