60+ wins in under two years

When Profisee started collaborating with Microsoft at the beginning of 2016, they hit the ground running. “Together, Profisee and Microsoft have over 165 active customers globally, with 64 net new wins since January of 2016 with enterprise-level companies like Domino’s Pizza, ITT, and L3,” said Jeff Wilson, Chief Marketing Officer at Profisee. A market-disrupting MDM solution

Profisee is a leading provider of master data management (MDM), a method that enables companies to link critical data to one master file, providing them with a common point of reference. Profisee’s footprint in the MDM space is growing quickly—they experienced year-over-year growth of nearly 90 percent from fiscal year 2016 to fiscal year 2017.

Leveraging the Microsoft technology stack, Profisee is able to deliver solutions on premise, in the Microsoft Azure cloud, or in a consumption model via the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. “Together, Profisee and Microsoft have created a market-disrupting MDM solution that provides unique advantages over other MDM providers,” Wilson said.

“Profisee is one of the most mature partners we have in terms of proactive sales pipeline and independent selling for solutions driving Microsoft assets in our shared customers,” said Tara Webb, Data Platform Specialist at Microsoft.

Wilson said Profisee’s partnership with Microsoft is the leading priority for the company. “Profisee recognizes Microsoft as our most strategic global partner, and as such, we continuously align our technology investments to be in line with the evolving Microsoft technology strategy,” Wilson said. “Over the past year, we have continued to invest and grow our global field sales and marketing teams who work collaboratively with our Microsoft peers to uniquely solve business problems for our mutual customers.”

Joint effort saves ITT thousands of hours

One customer Profisee and Microsoft teamed up to help was ITT, a leading manufacturer of critical components and technology solutions for the energy, transportation, and industrial markets. To reduce IT costs, ITT launched a program to align customer, vendor and parts data across all divisions and multiple enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. To ensure continuous alignment of data across these different ERP systems, Microsoft recognized the need for an enterprise-grade MDM solution and brought in Profisee. As a team, the two companies beat out its competitors to win the MDM business with ITT.

“Microsoft and Profisee’s solution saved ITT thousands of hours of effort and enabled the CEO of ITT to realize his vision for a single source of truth across customers, vendors and parts. This was truly a joint sales effort by the Microsoft and Profisee teams,” Wilson said.

“This joint Microsoft and Profisee win provides a great opportunity to showcase the power of our hybrid cloud strength and help the customer for both on premise and cloud ready challenges,” Webb said.

Profisee’s relationship with Microsoft is leading to other significant partnerships as well. “Having just signed Hitachi Solutions as a global reseller partner, we continue to forge additional strategic alliances among both Microsoft-centric and MDM-centric consulting partners, expanding our mutual reach,” Wilson said.
