Program Overview

Partners who demonstrate deep knowledge, extensive experience, and proven success deploying Microsoft 365 workloads may seek the Secure AI Productivity specialization.

Customers need to properly configure, set up, and migrate to the Microsoft 365 service before they can begin taking full advantage of it. Secure AI Productivity services present partners with a critical opportunity to ensure customers achieve business value from Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID P1, Exchange Online, Intune, Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Microsoft 365 Apps, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online, which can increase customer lifetime value for the partner. The Secure AI Productivity specialization allows partners with active Solutions Partner designations for Modern Work and Security to further differentiate their organization, demonstrate their capabilities, and build stronger connections with customers.

Partners who meet the comprehensive requirements to earn an specialization receive a customer-facing label that they can display on their business profile in Microsoft Marketplace, are prioritized in customer searches to drive new business, and can generate a certified letter from Microsoft that verifies the specialization that they have earned.

How do I apply?

Only administrators of an organization’s Microsoft partner account can submit an application for the Secure AI Productivity specialization on behalf of the organization. If you have the appropriate role and access, you can apply by signing in to Partner Center and navigating to your Partner Center dashboard > Membership > Specializations.

What are the requirements?

Eligible partners must meet the highest standards for service delivery and support. All requirements will be verified by Microsoft and/or a third-party vendor, either automatically or by manual review, and are subject to change.

Your organization must have an active Solutions Partner designation for Modern Work AND Security.

Your company must meet the following performance thresholds:

Your company must achieve a minimum of 2,500 Monthly Active Usage (MAU) growth on 3 of the 8 separate Microsoft 365 workload services (Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID P1, Exchange Online, Intune, Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Microsoft 365 Apps, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online) in a trailing twelve-month period. The 2,500 MAU growth should be demonstrated at each workload level.

  • At least one of the workloads meeting required growth must come from the productivity workloads: Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 Apps, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online
  • At least one of the workloads meeting required growth must come from the identity, security and management workloads: Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID P1, Intune, Microsoft Purview Information Protection

AND

Associate a minimum of 5 new customer tenants with your organization from any of the 8 workloads in a trailing twelve-month period.

Monthly Active Usage (MAU): Monthly Active Usage is calculated on a rolling 28-day basis and represents the unique number of users taking an intentional action on a specific service.

Your company should achieve MAU through Claiming Partner of Record (CPOR), CSP Tier1, CSP Tier2
