Move your customers from AI interest to execution by tapping into skilling opportunities designed to strengthen delivery readiness and sharpen sales execution. This month's skilling focus is about going beyond AI pilots to deliver real outcomes, securely and across teams.

In May and June, Microsoft is delivering high-impact, in-person learning opportunities that can scale readiness across your broader team through role-based learning journeys, equipping you to drive AI-powered solutions and exceed customer expectations.

The in-person skilling difference

In-person skilling creates a different kind of readiness. You get face-to-face time with experts, hands-on practice, and peer-to-peer pattern sharing that is hard to replicate through self-paced content alone. The result is faster capability build, clearer delivery expectations, and better alignment between technical teams and sellers.

For many partners, the winning approach is a blend:

  • In-person learning to build depth, practice real scenarios, and tighten delivery quality in Agentic AI in Copilot Studio, app modernization, sovereign cloud conversations, and AI-powered analytics in Microsoft Fabric.
  • On-demand skilling to scale knowledge across your broader team and reinforce learning over time across topics like Microsoft Fabric IQ, agentic AI, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Agent 365.

Below is a list of recommended in-person learning opportunities.

Microsoft AI Tour for Partners: Hands-on learning that accelerates readiness

Join the upcoming Microsoft AI Tour for Partners in Zurich for hands-on, role-based skilling that turns AI momentum into repeatable execution. You will dig into the latest product innovations, build practical depth through guided sessions and labs, and take away clear next steps you can apply across customer engagements. Check the Zurich listing on Partner Skilling Hub for the date, location, and registration details.

Regional Project Ready and Tech Deal Ready workshops: Skill up where you build and sell

If you are looking for role-based, hands-on readiness that connects directly to real delivery scenarios, regional Project Ready and Tech Deal Ready workshops are designed for that. These are one-day or two-day, in-person events delivered at Microsoft offices worldwide, with instructor-led sessions and immersive labs covering topics such as building and governing agents on Microsoft’s AI platform, modernizing apps and databases, and deploying, optimizing, and implementing threat protection with Microsoft Sentinel.

These regional sessions provide valuable skilling and insights if you want to:

  • Standardize delivery patterns across a growing team.
  • Reduce implementation friction through hands-on scenarios and repeatable guidance.
  • Strengthen presales and technical selling with clearer solution mapping, scoping, and deployment expectations.

By combining the delivery readiness of Project Ready courses and the pre-sales and technical deal shaping of Tech Deal Ready courses, you can create a shared operating rhythm across the lifecycle of an engagement, from early qualification through delivery and adoption.

To get more from the experience:

  • Choose one or two priority solution areas for May and June, and commit to attending a workshop on each topic.
  • Bring a real customer scenario so you can refine your approach and deliverables during the workshops.
  • Capture outputs as reusable assets like templates, checklists, and reference architectures your teams can apply repeatedly.

Discover regional in-person workshops through the Partner Skilling Hub and filter by workshop type and audience.

To get more value from Build, preparation is the differentiator. Here are some strategies partners use:

  • Set your Build focus areas now for your team to track, choosing three priorities most relevant to your solution plays and customer segments.
  • Align technical and sales leaders on what they want to learn, validate, and take away from the event.
  • Ready your teams in May and early June through in-person AI Tour and regional workshops.
  • Commit to a post-Build working session with a clear activation plan for the 30 to 60 days following the event where you can update your pitch, refine your delivery approach, and launch one targeted campaign or customer motion.
