The Microsoft Cyber Accelerator Program (MCAP) is an exclusive program for Microsoft Partners based in Australia that want to accelerate the growth of new cyber security practices.

Cyber-attacks on Australian organisations are increasing in number and intensity. At the same time, regulatory scrutiny on data privacy measures is also growing - as is the cost of breaching compliance. Today, there is far greater risk and consequence for companies if they get it wrong.

.The Microsoft Cyber Accelerator Program, launched in partnership between Microsoft and specialist IT advisory firm incredibleresults, will help your organisation to take advantage of this opportunity by helping you build a profitable security practice.

Over the course of the Program, you’ll receive coaching and resources to define, build, and launch a security practice, based on a proven plan for winning with Microsoft’s industry-leading security platform.

We’re committed to helping you build a differentiated Microsoft Security practice. The Microsoft Cyber Accelerator Program will provide you with both the business and technical components to bring you new revenue opportunities and to help you to build deeper engagements with customers.

 The ongoing risk of cyber-attacks means that revenue from security products and services is expected to triple in the next ten years, reaching AU$6 billion by 2026 alone. The partners that will be poised to benefit alongside this trend will be those that act now.

The current Microsoft Cyber Accelerator Program (MCAP) session runs from October 2021 – March 2022. In this time, participants will work towards defining, building, and launching a new or improved security practice, based on a proven plan for winning with Microsoft’s industry-leading security platform.

Internal stakeholders that may participate in the Microsoft Cyber Accelerator Program include:

• A nominated MCAP Executive Sponsor (generally, a business owner or senior executive leader)
• A ‘Security Champion’, who will have ultimate responsibility for moving the program forward
• Sales and marketing representative(s) who will support the security practice
• Senior technical representatives, such as your CTO, Practice Manager, Principal Architect or equivalent

Successful graduation from the Cyber Accelerator Program requires that a minimum of 4 resources at your organisation become certified in both M365 Security & Azure Security. The best way to achieve that is through the MS-500 and AZ-500 bootcamps, planned throughout the program. An investment of A$299 is required per individual participant at a MS-500 (Microsoft 365 Security) or AZ-500 (Azure Security) Bootcamp.

All other Cyber Accelerator Program elements are funded by Microsoft.

Participants who complete the Microsoft Cyber Accelerator Program will gain:

• Access to the Incredible Security Practice Canvas® proprietary framework, as well as workshops and 1:1 coaching that help participants gain clarity on their security practice strategy
• A differentiated security offering to be published in Microsoft Marketplace
• Specialised technical skills built through M365 Security and Azure Security bootcamps, which will support participants on their path to achieving a Gold Security Competency
• Pre-sales and sales training that enables participants to pitch, compete, and win with their new Microsoft security practice
• Go-to-market resources to help launch your new differentiated security practice

The Incredible Security Practice Canvas® is based on the Business Canvas framework the team at incredible results use (if you’ve completed one before, this layout will feel very familiar to you). If you haven’t, don’t worry - it’s very intuitive.

The Incredible Security Practice Canvas® process is designed to help your organisation determine whether or not investing in the development of a Microsoft security practice is appropriate. In this way, it serves as your strategic roadmap on your MCAP journey, helping you define, build, launch, market, sell, deliver and then manage a differentiated Microsoft Security offering.

1. The left-hand side of the Canvas encompasses the current state of your organisation, including its strengths, opportunities and competitive landscape
2. The right-hand side of the Canvas quantifies the practice ambition and specific success measures, covering areas such as commercial model and security practice focus
3. Then the middle of the canvas captures the focus, activity and priorities required to get from A to B.
