Vungle helps app publishers

Last November, Vungle, a leader in in-app video advertising, partnered with Microsoft to release the Vungle SDK for Windows 10 apps, which powers monetization for apps across Windows 10 desktops, tablets, and phones.

"Microsoft has been very supportive throughout our launch—across the organization, they are committed to the success of publishers on Windows 10, and they’re doing all the right things to create a viable app ecosystem for publishers and advertisers."

Zain Jaffer, CEO, Vungle

A number of Windows app publishers started using Vungle and quickly noticed positive results. “Vungle delivers CPMs 1.5 times higher than other solutions on Windows, and much higher fill,” said Henry Fong, CEO of Yodo1. “We see very high IAP [in-app purchase] conversion on Windows compared to other platforms.” A video showcasing the Windows version of Vungle was published on YouTube to promote the new platform. “All the key metrics we’re seeing on Windows are comparable to or higher than our performance on other platforms,” Zain Jaffer, Vungle CEO, said. “Windows 10 users on laptops, convertibles and desktops are engaged, they are responding to our ads and are discovering new games and apps the same way they do on other platforms. As Windows 10 scales, this will be a legitimate distribution and monetization platform for publishers.”
