The current Azure Enterprise Administrator (EA) admin role provisioned either via Volume Licensing Contract Manager (VLCM) CICR or the manual CICR process has a process change:
- All new Azure EA admin users provisioned via CICR will be added as a read-only EA admin in the Azure Enterprise portal. If they need full (read or write) access, any existing nonread-only EA admin users must update their access in the Azure Enterprise portal.
- In the event that there isn’t an existing nonread-only admin to make the access change, customers can either create an Azure support request in the Azure Enterprise portal to update their access or contact customer service in their country or region. Refer to the Global Customer Service phone numbers on Microsoft.com.
- Existing admins won’t experience a change in their access; this is applicable to additions after July 18, 2022.
