Fabric and Analyst in a Day workshops help Celebal Technologies grow the business.

A leading provider of software services, Celebal Technologies specializes in digital transformation and enterprise modernization. Their offerings include comprehensive solutions for generative AI, machine learning, and analytics, with a global clientele featuring Fortune 500 companies.

Celebal's experience across industries helps businesses speed their digital transformation to stay competitive, enhance customer experiences, and foster innovation. By building custom solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Celebal empowers their customers to break down data silos and unlock valuable insights.

Building global success with Fabric

Since their inception in 2016, Celebal has been a Microsoft partner, growing from niche work delivery to large-scale projects for customers around the world. In fact, Celebal was named a 2023 Microsoft Global AI Partner of the Year.

Celebal was among the first Microsoft partners to earn specializations for AI and Machine Learning in Microsoft Azure and Analytics on Microsoft Azure. "Specializations instill confidence in both us and our customers," said Pranjal Gupta, Principal Consultant at Celebal. "They demonstrate our company's expertise in using advanced technology to solve complex problems, like automating processes and making data-driven decisions."

Building on their strengths in data and AI, Celebal was eager to add Fabric to their solution portfolio. The team quickly realized the benefits of Fabric, noting its compatibility with Azure and Azure Databricks. They were also impressed by the comprehensive AI-powered features and speedy reporting capabilities in a single unified environment. "We have found Fabric to be an excellent platform where all components are available under one umbrella," noted Gupta. "Fabric has the potential to reshape how our customers access and manage their data."

Due to overwhelming customer demand, Celebal quickly ramped up their team by certifying 100 Fabric analytics engineer associates. These engineers actively participate in product testing and rigorously evaluate new features on the day of release, helping customers to receive top-notch expertise and support.

Fabric Analyst in a Day workshops bring new business

Celebal recently completed several Fabric Analyst in a Day workshops in Canada and the United States, attracting approximately 19 organizations from 15 unique industries. These workshops focused on showcasing Fabric end-to-end, resulting in several promising proofs of concept and new customer opportunities.

The next workshops will be in the United Kingdom, with more in the pipeline. "We're really looking forward to continuing these workshops, interacting with new customers, and telling them about the benefits of Fabric," said Gupta. "It's a great product—there are always new advancements to talk about."

Customers who complete an Analyst in a Day workshop get a firsthand view of how their organization can benefit from Fabric. They learn how to use Fabric to help streamline and enhance productivity with analytics, unify and transform their data across various data sources, and build powerful reports that help them uncover meaningful insights and make impactful business decisions.

Lini Karanath, Head of Engineering of Data and AI at Celebal, added, "The workshops are great for those who are highly technical, but they also provide a valuable experience for those focusing on commercial aspects. Law firm reduces reporting time by 50% with Fabric

A large Canadian law firm is one of many customers who benefited greatly from Celebal's Fabric expertise. The firm needed a solution to help them break down data silos and gain real-time batch loading and data processing capabilities.

Using Fabric, Celebal presented a tailored approach that can assist the law firm in success now and in the future through plug-and-play options. The solution includes a centralized data hub that supports seamless real-time and batch data processing. A pop-up framework built on Fabric interoperates with the law firm's external applications, automatically bringing operations like updates, creations, or deletions into Fabric and notifying end users that the data has been updated and is ready for reporting.

Before Fabric, users at the firm had to wait four to five hours before manually checking if the data was updated. Gupta noted, "While this solution is still in implementation, we've already seen the law firm reduce their reporting time by 50%. And we're continuously improving the design of the solution to meet their needs."

Leading the charge in data transformation with Fabric

Looking ahead, Celebal is focused on strengthening their partnership with Microsoft and building on their success with Fabric. As demand for data transformation continues to grow, they're committed to delivering solutions that help customers meet their unique data needs now and in the future, and Celebal believes Fabric is the way forward.
