How It Works
Accelerate digital transformation for nonprofit organizations, so they can have a greater impact. Partners are critical to helping nonprofits achieve their mission by providing cloud technology implementation, support, and managed services. Microsoft partners serving the nonprofit sector have a unique opportunity to deliver value that enables organizations to address some of the world’s most pressing economic, humanitarian, and social issues.
Not every partner sells to nonprofit customers, but those that do are often driven by organizational values and a corporate commitment to help drive social change.
Technology innovations like AI, big data, cloud, and IoT are advancing the commercial sector. Meanwhile, nonprofits face resource constraints, increased expectations, and security threats. Partners can extend these technologies to address nonprofits’ mission needs. And Microsoft delivers secure, reliable, and trusted cloud solutions that enable nonprofits to digitally transform, accelerate their missions, and make a greater impact.
Donors and volunteers are the lifeblood of nonprofits. But competition is fierce for these resources. Technology can help strengthen relationships and increase support by delivering rich, personalized, and connected experiences with a nonprofit organization and its beneficiaries.
Nonprofit employees are passionate about their organizations’ mission, and technology can increase their daily impact by unlocking productivity and creativity that taps into that passion.
Technology can increase information flow across a nonprofit organization, locally and globally, to gain operational efficiencies.

Microsoft has created industry-leading on-premises and cloud offers for eligible nonprofits across productivity solutions, cloud platform, data and analytics, and fundraising and donor relationship management.
Microsoft recently introduced several new cloud solutions—Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Volunteer SKUs—and Surface hardware offers that are now available to nonprofits around the world.

Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and Office 365 nonprofit offers are currently available through the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program. CSP helps you go beyond reselling licenses to being more involved in enabling a nonprofit to achieve its mission—all while offering more flexibility to access Microsoft cloud solutions and bringing partners’ value-added services to nonprofits.
Nonprofit pricing is available through the Microsoft standard Enterprise Agreement (EA) structure. The EA is available for all cloud and on-premises SKUs for any eligible nonprofit organizations that have more than 500 seats and are purchasing over USD50,000 in combined value. The EA structure allows for easier administration, through integrated purchasing and billing, for cloud and software needs. And the EA offers a price lock for the duration of the three-year agreement.
The Microsoft Open Charity License program allows eligible nonprofit and non-governmental organizations to acquire multiple software licenses (instead of multiple software packages) at a reduced price through Volume Licensing. Through Open Charity, nonprofits can receive perpetual software license donations.
