Complete the following five steps to earn the Silver Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions Competency.

1. Meet the performance requirements

You must increase your customer base by four new Office 365 customers within the previous 12 months.*

To qualify, you will need to be associated as the Office 365 Delegated Administrator, Transacting Partner, or Digital Partner of Record. Get more information.

*A new customer is defined as a customer that starts a new cloud subscription for the first time with Microsoft within the previous 12 months. Existing customers that are not retained by the Partner will count against the new customer calculation regardless of when the customer subscription start date began.

2. Pass the exam

No exams or assessments required.

3. Provide customer evidence

Your organization must have three customer references from within the previous 12 months from customers whom you have provided solutions based on the products and technologies associated with this competency.

Requests for a reference can be submitted through the Partner Membership Center.

4. Complete your organization’s profile

Your account administrator must provide specific information about your organization through the Partner Membership Center.

5. Pay the competency fee

The fee is due one time per year—no matter how many competencies your organization earns. The fee varies by location. Pay the fee through the Partner Membership Center.

According to the URL that you are currently visiting, your fee would be $1,530, not including applicable local taxes and fees. The fee will be presented to you during the enrollment process. Your actual fee will be based on the physical location of your company.

Complete the following five steps to earn the Gold Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions Competency.

1. Meet the performance requirements

You must increase your customer base by 25 new Office 365 customers within the previous 12 months.* 

To qualify, you will need to be associated as the Office 365 Delegated Administrator, Transacting Partner, or Digital Partner of Record. Get more information.

*A new customer is defined as a customer that starts a new cloud subscription for the first time with Microsoft within the previous 12 months. Existing customers that are not retained by the Partner will count against the new customer calculation regardless of when the customer subscription start date began.

Two people must pass the following exam:

Training content for the exams and certifications can be found on the Partner University learning paths.

If your employees or contractors pass the competency exams, you can count those exams toward attaining multiple gold competencies.

Tip: Partners can work on obtaining their customer evidence and organization profile requirements before completing the technical requirements listed above.
