D365, M365, Power Platform, and W365 in the new commerce experience in CSP

Last Modified 2021-09-08

Microsoft is on a transformational journey with its commerce experience—a multistage, multi-year investment. The new commerce experience for the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program is built on the foundational capabilities that made CSP the go-to motion for partners who sell value-added cloud solutions.

With new commerce, partners can provide unique service offerings for their customers, regardless of how they buy. This enables them to digitally transform and expand their businesses with continuous selling and managed services—while reducing costs.

With the next phase in October 2021, we will bring seat-based cloud offers to the new commerce experience for Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Windows 365.

To help partners prepare for the October general availability (GA), Microsoft will add the new commerce functionalities and offer catalog to the CSP sandbox tenants (with accompanying documentation) starting September 1, 2021. This means that direct bill and indirect provider partners can begin testing and integrating new commerce with their platforms via APIs. Partners will be able to transact with customers in new commerce by the October GA.
