On October 1, 2022, Microsoft introduced changes to expand the ability for partners to create and deploy customized, third-party hosted Microsoft solutions, including desktop solutions, for our customers. These changes allow customers to get and use partner-hosted solutions, by either bringing their own licenses or licensing from a partner. We expanded the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, added the Flexible Virtualization benefit for Software Assurance and subscriptions, and updated our terms to provide more flexibility and to better support cloud computing. These changes expand the ability for partners to create and deploy virtual machines with Microsoft solutions for our customers in a hosted environment.
