Frequently asked questions

Partners transacting in CSP can sell the entire services portfolio available through CSP. There are no certification requirements to sell any of the services. Partners interested in expanding their business by adding complementary services will still be responsible for customer success and should develop a plan for helping customers implement and support their solutions.

Microsoft Azure is sold as a pay-as-you-go service, billed in arrears, meaning that customers or partners set up a new Microsoft Azure service under a Microsoft subscription and consume resources against those services during the month. At the end of the month, Microsoft will bill the CSP partner for the consumption of those Microsoft Azure services at the relevant rates.

Of course. We anticipate some partners, as they gain experience, may want to build out their infrastructure and switch from indirect to direct. Conversely, some direct partners may elect to take advantage of the services provided by an indirect provider for all or part of their business.
