As Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales at Microsoft, David Smith drives transformational impact across the company’s expansive partner ecosystem, including Global Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers, Hosters, Telcos, Scale Solution Providers, and Indirect Distributors. Since joining Microsoft in 1998, he has been deeply engaged with customers, partners, and strategic System Integrators and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), helping them develop and deploy innovative solutions that empower businesses of all sizes to achieve more.
David is dedicated to accelerating partner success and ensuring the partner community at Microsoft remains at the forefront of innovation and customer impact. Previously, he led Partner Sales for the U.S. market and served as Worldwide Vice President of the SMB organization from 2015 to 2017, where he spearheaded the expansion of the company’s cloud ecosystem and drove multi-billion-dollar business growth.
