BrightWork 365 puts project managers back in control while providing senior executives with improved visibility and insights
In 2021, BrightWork introduced BrightWork 365, its project and portfolio management solution built on Microsoft Power Platform for Microsoft 365. Available in Microsoft AppSource, BrightWork 365 combines software and professional services that use configurable templates and flexible business workflows, giving project teams more agility while increasing visibility for senior executives and project management office leads.
‘’We deliver, deploy, and support a complete project portfolio management solution on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform,” said Éamonn McGuinness, BrightWork CEO and Founder. “We work closely with our customers using our unique Start-Evolve approach to provide expertise, guidance, and training at every step of their project management journey.”
One BrightWork client, a manufacturer of servers, displays, storage devices, and more for mission-critical military and industrial environments, realized its project management methods were inconsistent and cumbersome. The client needed a single project management solution that could be modified to match all its needs, including consolidating all project tasks, schedules, documents, and scope into one place and tracking all information securely.
With BrightWork 365 for Microsoft 365, the client immediately gained increased visibility into all projects. Additionally, setting project tasks and timelines became much easier, and project reporting was improved via Microsoft Power BI dashboards.
The client replaced several project management tools with one comprehensive solution, using BrightWork 365 for scheduling; tracking tasks, issues, and risks; processing project requests; storing documents; reporting status; and more. Now every project team member knows exactly how to find documents, actions, schedules, and proofs of concept for any project.
“BrightWork 365 allowed the client organization to leverage the best of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem for project work and collaboration while maintaining a unified view of all projects,” McGuinness said. “As BrightWork 365 is configurable with little to no code, the client was easily able to add their processes and ways of working to the Microsoft 365 apps commonly used by their teams.’’
