ADAM Software provides Azure-based DAM solution for Philips

How ADAM Software migrated Philips’ legacy system to Azure

Pieter Casneuf, the CEO of ADAM Software, explains why Microsoft Azure was instrumental in helping them successfully complete a migration for Philips under tight deadlines.

When global company Philips planned to separate two divisions, each unit needed its own IT stack. Based on their requirements for high availability and security, Philips selected ADAM Software to migrate from an internally-hosted legacy system to an ADAM solution deployed on Microsoft Azure.

"We are a small player with global clients, so for us, Microsoft is a great marketing partner. One phone call and we get an entire account team with access to the right stakeholders."

The need for high availability and security played a big role when Philips chose to work with ADAM Software and Azure. “Especially for European customers, Azure guarantees a higher level of confidentiality and privacy of the customer data,” said Pieter Casneuf, CEO of ADAM Software.

ADAM delivered the solution on schedule. “Azure allows our customers to deploy projects faster, and to do it in a cost-effective way,” Casneuf said. As a result of the project’s success, ADAM expects to work with Philips on future content management initiatives.
