Partners who demonstrate deep knowledge, extensive experience, and proven success in providing cloud-based business applications to the small and midsize business market may seek the Small and Midsize Business Management Advanced Specialization.

With this advanced specialization, partners can demonstrate their unique ability to provide this business segment with appropriate, effective cloud-based solutions.

The Small and Midsize Business Management Advanced Specialization allows partners with an active Gold Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions Competency or Gold Cloud Business Applications Competency to further differentiate their organizations, validate their capabilities, and build stronger connections with customers.

Partners who meet the comprehensive requirements to earn an advanced specialization receive a customer-facing label that they can display on their business profile in the Microsoft solution provider finder, are prioritized in customer searches to drive new business, and can generate a certified letter from Microsoft that verifies the advanced specialization that they have earned.

How long will my advanced specialization stay active?

Your organization’s Small and Midsize Business Management Advanced Specialization will remain active for one year. After that, you can renew it, providing you meet the requirements at that time.

How do I earn this advanced specialization?

There is no application process for the Small and Midsize Business Management Advanced Specialization. If you have a relevant competency, you will be notified in Partner Center that you’ve been awarded the advanced specialization after meeting all requirements.

What are the requirements?

Eligible partners must meet the highest standards for service delivery and support. All requirements will be verified by Microsoft and/or a third-party vendor, either automatically or by manual review, and are subject to change.

Your organization must have an active Gold Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions Competency or Gold Cloud Business Applications Competency.

Your organization must have at least five individuals who pass Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate certification.

Your organization must have at least 10 deployments with five or more monthly active users.

 Your organization must have increased monthly active users across the entire customer base over the past 12 months by 35 percent. Monthly active users are counted at the production tenant level, summed up across only the paid subscriptions under the tenant, and calculated at the end of every month. To be eligible for points, your company must have had a baseline of at least 50 monthly active users across your entire customer base dating back 12 months.
