Toronto welcomes partners

The cosmopolitan capital of Ontario, Toronto is known for its international appeal, booming and burgeoning tech scene, and world-class dining. For the Microsoft partners that will head there in 2016, where better to discuss the many opportunities for new profitability in the IT industry than in a city that embodies such rapid growth?

Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC)

The only facility in the world that has hosted both a G20 and a G7 Summit, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre features expansive exhibition space, a host of restaurants and entertainment options within walking distance, and will be the site of the 2016 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

Staying in Toronto

With most WPC hotels located within half a mile of the MTCC, Toronto offers a very walkable and centralized conference experience. In late January, you’ll be able to book your hotels at negotiated rates directly through our registration tool, but for those who would like to get a head start on researching where to stay, the WPC 2016 hotel map can be downloaded below.

For travelers from the United States, a valid U.S. passport is required for entry to Canada when en route to WPC 2016. If you do not have a passport or your passport is close to expiring, we highly recommend that you begin the process of acquiring or renewing your passport immediately to ensure your documentation arrives on time. Instructions on how to apply for a passport can be found here.
