FAQ

What opportunities are provided to partners who enroll in the initiative?
Participants in the Black Partner Growth Initiative will receive personalized guidance and support to help their business take full advantage of Microsoft partner programs, offers, and resources.
Who is eligible to participate in the initiative?
Businesses eligible for partnership do one or more of the following:
  • Offer consulting and services that utilize Microsoft products.
  • Build on a Microsoft platform to build their own business.
  • Develop apps using Microsoft products.
  • Create IP using Microsoft products (i.e., organizations willing to build technology on the Microsoft platform).

BPGI welcomes technology businesses in the Microsoft Americas (US, Latin America, and Canada) region as well as the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. Organizations must:
  • Be a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program member with a Partner ID in authorized status.
  • Identify as a tech organization that is Black-owned or Black-led.
  • Provide solutions and/or services to enterprise clients (B2B).
  • Have a public-facing website with the solution and/or service offerings in the market and a LinkedIn account to verify the business presence.
  • Not be an educational institution, government entity, personal blog, dev shop, consultancy, agency, bitcoin, or crypto mining company.
  • Be in good standing with Microsoft (i.e., no disputed accounts receivable greater than or equal to 60 days and no default with the Microsoft Partner Capital Fund).
