Update March 21, 2023: Do you want to gain access to the latest OpenAI technologies? Use Azure OpenAI Service to access GPT-4!

Today, we announced the public preview availability of GPT-4, an exciting update to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. This brings the latest generation of large language models to Azure partners and customers as a part of the Azure OpenAI Service, enabling them with Azure’s enterprise-readiness, compliance, data security, and privacy controls, along with many integrations with other Azure services. A significant advancement in natural language processing technology, this powerful new language model will revolutionize the way we interact with technology, unlocking potential for partners and customers to develop captivating new applications that transform how we live, work, and play.

According to OpenAI, the GPT-4 model is trained on a much more extensive and diverse dataset than GPT-3.5, drawing from a broader range of domains. As a result, OpenAI reports that the updated language model understands and generates text in multiple languages, handles more than 25,000 words of text, interacts for longer conversations, and generates more natural and contextually appropriate responses with higher accuracy. GPT-4 stands out when solving more complex problems such as summarization, detailed question-answering, or generating more precise content.

Whether it's providing customer support, creating content, or facilitating cross-cultural communication, GPT-4 in Azure OpenAI Service can help you streamline processes, save time, and improve overall efficiency, enabling partners and customers to focus on more critical tasks. Reimagine how we collaborate using Azure OpenAI Service to break down language barriers and unlock a more connected, inclusive world.
