In part two of our Partner Innovation video series, we dig into two very diverse solutions, and I know you’ll be interested in both. Unity is a long-time Microsoft strategic partner with whom we’ve collaborated in the past on Windows and Xbox.  Today they’re leveraging Microsoft Azure and applying the power of artificial intelligence and large-scale computer graphics to create rich, immersive experiences in real-time through their 3D interactive digital twin solution.  It’s a fascinating technology with roots in gaming that everyone can relate to and love because it invites collaboration and engagement.

Device onboarding is another hot topic in the world of IoT.  Connecting devices is universally known as a top challenge for IoT solution developers.  We take that subject head-on in our conversation with Omnio, a company that helps businesses and large integrators connect their industrial equipment and normalize their data to enable IoT solutions – saving time and enormous effort in the process.

As usual, you’ll find our Partner Innovation videos on this site at the end of each month, or you can watch them as they are released on my Linkedin page.  For each partner, there are two videos.  In the first, I sit down with a partner leader to give you an overview of the solution. The second is followed by a technical deep-dive video, led by a Microsoft program manager, to peek under the hood.

This month’s Partner Innovation videos:

Discover how Unity’s real-time 3D platform empowers teams across industries to visualize data, simulate scenarios, make data-drive decisions, and facilitate group collaboration around the globe using digital twins of physical sites, assets, and systems.

Learn how Omnio Edge, a software solution that provides over 60K ready-made device connectors and a pre-built unified data layer, connect assets, normalizes data and converts it to DTDL format to allow interoperability with IoT solutions like IoT Central or Azure Digital Twins.
