Staying at the forefront of technology innovation is essential for our partners, and we're here to ensure you have the tools and support to do just that. As part of this ongoing commitment, we are evolving the benefits packages offered through the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.

Last January, we launched three new distinct benefits packages: Partner Launch Benefits, Partner Success Core Benefits, and Partner Success Expanded Benefits. These packages are purpose-built to meet the varied needs of our partners at different stages of growth and are designed to help take your business to the next level. They complement Solutions Partner and ISV Success core and expanded benefits already available for partners. More details on what is included in these benefits packages is available on the partner website, including total retail value of the packages: Partner Launch Benefits (USD13,000+), Partner Success Core Benefits (USD62,000+), and Partner Success Expanded Benefits (USD390,000+).

Now, I’m thrilled to announce that starting January 22, 2025, we are adding over 20 in-demand product licenses to our benefits packages. This includes game-changing Microsoft Copilot products, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft GitHub.

To bring our partners the most up-to-date benefits, we are also providing advance notice that Microsoft will no longer sell Microsoft Action Pack, Microsoft Learning Action Pack, or legacy silver/gold benefits starting January 22, 2025.

Partners who purchase or renew these legacy benefits packages before January 22, 2025, will be able to use their benefits for 12 months from their purchase/renewal date. Those with an eligible active legacy silver/gold purchase status as of January 21, 2025, will be eligible for the remainder of the FY25 CSP incentive term (January 22, 2025, to September 30, 2025).

You can continue to access product, support, and advisory benefits through purpose-built offerings that provide more choice and value for our partners. While the new product licenses will not be added to legacy benefits offerings—which include Microsoft Action Pack, Learning Action Pack, or legacy silver/gold benefits—our updated offerings empower you to do more, and with the latest Microsoft products to help you reach your business goals.

 

Achieve more with updated partner benefits offerings

When you activate offerings such as partner benefits packages and Solutions Partner designations, you unlock the latest innovations across the Microsoft Cloud and AI. Whether you are building solutions, going to market, or connecting with customers, these benefits offerings help you:

  • Gain hands-on experience. Acquire practical experience with cutting-edge technology to enhance service to your clients.
  • Accelerate growth with powerful licenses and support. Partner benefits packages contain modernized, in-demand software licenses, including seats of Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Power BI Premium, and Visio Plan 2, as well as personalized support for your business. The most robust package, Partner Success Expanded Benefits, includes Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Access the latest benefits with continual updates. Partner benefits packages will continue to evolve, and purchasing a package ensures you get access to the latest benefits each time you renew.
  • Help scale your business with cost-saving offerings. The purchase price of each package is far less than its retail value—so you can focus more of your resources on serving customers.
  • Choose between packages to get the right fit for your business. These packages contain progressively robust portfolios of benefits, so you can select the one that best suits your needs.

 

Choose the offering that meets your business needs

Silver and gold benefits will remain in effect for one year after your last purchase or renewal, but they will not undergo the January 2025 update. Therefore, we encourage every partner to purchase a partner benefits package today to access the new benefits as soon as they are released on January 22, 2025. There are no requirements to purchase, and your partner admin can perform the transaction in Partner Center. Below are recommendations to help you decide which of the three packages to choose. For qualified partners, we also encourage you to attain a Solutions Partner designation to strengthen your benefits portfolio and stand out in the marketplace.

  • If you have a Microsoft Action Pack or Learning Action Pack, we recommend the Partner Success Core Benefits and Partner Success Expanded Benefits packages, depending on the size and needs of your organization. These benefits are designed to enhance your cloud and AI capabilities and help drive long-term profitability.
  • If you have legacy silver or gold benefits, we recommend Partner Success Expanded Benefits, a comprehensive package designed for organizations ready to expand even further and deepen their partnership with Microsoft. You can also strengthen your portfolio and stand out in the marketplace with a Solutions Partner designation.

 

Deepen your partnership and reach more customers

In addition to partner benefits packages, the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program offers differentiation opportunities that make it easier for customers to identify your organization's broad technical capabilities. Depending on your business growth and goals, you may choose to pursue a Solutions Partner designation, which provides you with a portfolio of tailored benefits, opens you to co-sell opportunities, and helps you stand out in the marketplace with customer-facing badging.

You can also purchase one or more partner benefits packages to either supplement your Solutions Partner designation benefits or gain access to the benefits you need while you work to attain a designation.
